DO give your pet the spotlight!
- Ensure your cat or dog is the main focus
- Only one pet per photo please
- Keep them still to get a well-defined image
- Ideally take the photo at eye level & with your pet looking into the camera
DON’T use a background that’s the color of your pet
- Use a contrasting color/pattern so your photo subject stands out
DON’T have any humans touching the pet
- Resist the temptation to join your adorable pet in the photo
DON’T snap your pet when they’re lying down
- Sitting or standing is best – try to keep their neck & shoulders in view
