The aluminum print is one of our premium products. Your aluminum photo print sees your photo reproduced directly onto a metal composite panel. This ingenious backing plate is made from two super-slim sheets of aluminum enclosing a lightweight black polyethylene core.
Your photo is reproduced directly on the aluminum composite, printed with a classically elegant matte finish. The metal photo print offers great resistance to humidity, so you can display your aluminum print in the kitchen or bathroom with complete confidence.

The body of the print on metal is an aluminum composite panel, which is made from a jet-black polyethylene core between two thin sheets of aluminum. Your photo image is digitally printed direct onto the surface of the metal composite.
CANVASDISCOUNT metal photo prints were designed to be displayed without frames. The borderless construction gives your print an elegantly slim, minimalist aesthetic – with the exposed silvery borders of the aluminum sheets providing a hint of glamor.
Our largest picture printed on metal is 30” x 40”. Note: if you want a large metal print, the photo you upload needs to be large itself (it needs a high resolution, or pixel count). Our system only offers you the print sizes suited to your image – so if you can’t see the format you want, try uploading a bigger image.
Yes! Once you’ve uploaded your image, you’ll be taken to a product preview page showing a mock-up of your print on metal. Just click the “Add Text” tab and you can add any text you like to your image, in a range of fonts, sizes, and colors.
We recommend two special hanging solutions from CANVASDISCOUNT to hang your print on metal: the hanger plate (recommended for small/medium metal prints) or the aluminum backframe (recommended for medium/large metal prints). They can be added to your order for a modest extra cost.
In most cases, a regular light dusting should be enough to keep your photo print on metal in perfect condition. If your print gets splashed or otherwise soiled, we recommend wiping it with a slightly damp microfiber cloth.
