The Tenth Anniversary Is Aluminum
The traditional gift for a tenth wedding anniversary is tin or aluminum, and a metal photo print is an aluminum gift most people would actually want to receive. That is a better fit than most things sold under the tenth-anniversary heading.
The twenty-fifth is silver, and a matte aluminum panel with its silver edges reads closer to silver than anything else we print. For a couple who have been given every framed photograph their family owns, it is a format they probably do not have.
Finish and Hanging for Anniversary Metal Prints
Matte finish
The photo is printed straight onto the aluminum with a matte finish that keeps reflections down and resists humidity.
Borderless edges
No frame: the black and silver edges of the panel stay exposed.
Hidden hanging options
A hanger plate for small and medium prints, or an aluminum backframe for larger ones, added at checkout.
Choosing a Size for Your Wall
Above a sofa, a bed or a sideboard, a print looks right at about two thirds of the width of the furniture under it. Elsewhere, start from where it will hang.
| Where it hangs | Size | From |
|---|---|---|
| A shelf or a desk | 8x8 | $9.00 |
| A kitchen or a hallway wall | 12x16 | $27.00 |
| Above a console or a dresser | 16x20 | $49.00 |
| Above a sofa or a bed | 20x30 | $92.00 |
| A feature wall | 24x36 | $105.00 |

Anniversary Metal Print FAQs
-
From $9.00 for an 8x8, and $49.00 for a 16x20 above a sofa.
-
Aluminum: two thin sheets around a black polyethylene core, 3mm thick, with the photo printed straight onto the surface. That is what makes it a tenth anniversary gift.
-
There is no choice to make: our metal prints are matte. With the silver edges, that matte panel reads close to silver for a twenty-fifth.
-
Pick a hanger plate or an aluminum backframe at checkout, depending on the size.
-
120 dpi, so scan an older print at a good resolution if you are using one.
-
Yes. The panel resists humidity, so a kitchen or a bathroom wall is fine.
-
2 to 8 business days. For an anniversary on a fixed date, order two weeks ahead.
-
Acrylic is a glossy pane with depth; metal is matte and graphic. See our anniversary acrylic prints.
-
16x20 or 20x30 for a living room wall.
-
Landscapes and places as much as portraits: the photograph of where you went as well as of the two of you.

The twenty-fifth, silver
A matte aluminum panel with silver edges is the closest thing in a photo range to silver.
A matte finish on the wall
Matte keeps reflections down, so the photo reads from anywhere in the room.
