The Gift People Steal
White elephant works on one rule: the gift has to be worth stealing. A generic item sits untouched. A personalized one gets a reaction, and a reaction is the whole point.
The magic mug does this better than anything else we make. It arrives black, and the photo appears when hot water goes in. At $10.90 it sits well under any limit, and the reveal happens in the room.
Under the $20 limit
Sixteen products qualify, from a $3.90 poster to a $19.00 city map poster.
Under the $25 limit
Twenty-one products, adding the star map, satin pillow, fleece blanket, plush pillow and photo towel.
The ones that get stolen
Magic mug, photo puzzle and MIXPIX tiles, because all three do something rather than just being looked at.
White Elephant Gifts for Every Party
White elephant gifts under $20
Sixteen of our products come in under $20, from a $3.90 poster to a $19.00 city map poster.
Funny white elephant gifts
A magic mug that reveals someone's face as the coffee goes in, or a puzzle of the least flattering photo of the year.
Office white elephant
Keep it safe and light: a photo mug or a set of MIXPIX tiles with a team photo, nothing that assumes a close relationship.
Family white elephant
A puzzle or a photo book of a shared memory, so whoever steals it has a reason to keep it.

-
Most groups set $20 or $25. Sixteen of our products come in under $20 and twenty-one under $25.
-
Because the reveal happens in front of everyone. Its black coating turns clear when hot liquid is added, showing the photograph underneath, and returns to black as it cools.
-
Being personal or funny rather than generic. A puzzle of a group photo or a mug with someone's face on it beats a candle.
-
Keep the photo neutral: a local landmark, a team photo, or a shared joke rather than a family picture.
-
A Classic Poster at $3.90. The 8x8 Square Canvas at $4.30 comes next, then the Heart Keychain at $5.00 and the Photo Book at $5.00, and each still gets a reaction.
-
Most products take 1 to 4 business days to produce plus 1 to 4 in transit, so allow at least ten days. Photo books take 9 to 12 business days and MixBlox 6 to 10, so allow longer for those.
-
A mug, a puzzle or MIXPIX tiles. Avoid anything that assumes a close relationship.
-

-
No. Our photo puzzle is 88 pieces at 9.5 by 7.5 inches, which a group finishes in one sitting.
