Wall Art That Outlasts the Season
Most Christmas decoration is temporary. Wall art is not, which is why a photo print makes a different kind of gift: it goes up in December and is still there in March.
Canvas is the most ordered. It is 100% polyester with a matte coating, hand-stretched over a solid wooden frame and printed with solvent-free HP Latex inks, so it arrives ready to hang with no glass and no separate frame needed. Prices start at $4.30 for an 8x8.
For something with more shine, acrylic and metal both start at $9.00. Acrylic is a 3mm sheet printed on a white backing, which gives depth to the colors. Metal is a 3mm aluminium panel, glossy or matte, and the matte finish handles humidity well.
What to Hang at Christmas
A family portrait
The most common Christmas order, and often the only formal photo taken all year. Printed large it becomes the piece the room is arranged around.
A gallery wall
Several small canvases in a grid rather than one large piece. Six 8x8 prints cost less than a single large canvas and fill an awkward wall forgivingly.
A seasonal swap
A winter landscape or a Christmas photo that changes each year. Because prints are cheap at the small sizes, swapping one annually is a realistic habit.
Which Christmas Wall Art Should You Choose?
| Material | Look | From |
|---|---|---|
| Classic Poster | Matte paper, lightest and cheapest | $3.90 |
| Canvas | Matte, textured, ready to hang | $4.30 |
| Canvas Wall Hanging | Unstretched, with wooden bars and a cord | $8.00 |
| Acrylic Print | Glossy, with depth in the colors | $9.00 |
| Metal Print | Glossy or matte aluminium | $9.00 |
| Framed Picture | Photo paper, acrylic glass and a decor frame | $18.90 |
How to Order Your Christmas Wall Art
Creating custom Christmas wall art takes a few minutes from any device.
1. Upload your photo
Pick any picture from your phone or computer. 72 dpi is enough for canvas, and 120 dpi for acrylic, metal and posters.
2. Choose your material and size
Canvas, acrylic, metal, a framed print or a poster. Above a sofa, aim for roughly two thirds the width of the furniture beneath it.
3. Check the preview and order
You see the crop and the edge treatment before you pay. Canvas arrives stretched with the hanging hardware already fitted.
Christmas Wall Art Ideas
Above the sofa
A 24x36 or larger reads properly at that viewing distance. Anything smaller tends to look stranded behind a full-size sofa.
A grid of small canvases
Six 8x8 prints hung as a gallery wall. It costs less than one large piece and lets you add to it in later years rather than replacing it.
A gift they hang
Wall art arrives ready to display with no extra purchase needed, which is not true of most framed gifts.

Canvas. It arrives hand-stretched and ready to hang, needs no glass or frame, and the matte surface avoids the reflections that acrylic and metal can pick up.

100% polyester with a matte coating, printed with solvent-free HP Latex inks and hand-stretched over a solid wooden frame.
-
Yes. Every canvas arrives stretched on its frame with the hanging hardware fitted, so there is nothing to assemble and nothing else to buy.

Acrylic is a 3mm glass-like sheet printed on a white backing, which gives the colors depth. Metal is a 3mm aluminium panel available glossy or matte, and the matte version suits humid rooms.

Wall art should span roughly two thirds the width of the furniture beneath it, so for a standard sofa choose 24x36 or larger. See our 24x36 canvas prints or 36x48 canvas prints.
-
72 dpi for canvas, and 120 dpi for acrylic, metal, forex and posters. The harder surfaces show softness in an image more readily than canvas does.

Custom Christmas Wall Decor
Personalized Christmas wall art is the gift that is still on the wall long after the tree has gone, which is what separates it from the rest of the season.
Family photo canvas prints
The most ordered Christmas wall art we print. A recent group photograph on photo canvas prints becomes the piece a living room is arranged around rather than a seasonal decoration.
Winter and holiday scenes
A landscape that suits the season without being explicitly festive, so it can stay up through February rather than coming down on the sixth of January.
Gallery walls for Christmas
Several small prints rather than one large piece. A grid of 8x8 canvases is the cheapest way to fill a large wall, and it can be extended in later years.
Wall art as a Christmas gift
